Plenary 5 - Accelerating Nuclear Growth through Innovation

As the Canadian nuclear industry embarks on the deployment of new reactors for the first time in over three decades, innovation is expected to play a key role in in accelerating project timelines and growth within the industry at large. This session will explore the role of the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories in spurring nuclear innovation, the vital role nuclear energy is expected to play in supporting high-tech industries, innovation in the control room and the impact on operator training, and the role of innovative communication tools and the impact on public engagement and perception.
